A Metaphor is an implied Simile that is, in this figure of speech one establishes a comparison between different objects or concepts without the words such as like, as or so. Here, one does not state that one thing is like another or acts as another, in fact, takes two objects or concepts for granted and proceeds as if they are one and the same. In Metaphor an object or concept should be identified with two or more different things in the same sentence. Eg: Life is a dream.
