It is very important to show students that we care about them and what they speak and feel. They expect us to pay attention to their ideas, opinions, and thoughts and respond to them, if possible, suggest as per their interests. When they sense the absence of such interest, they feel discouraged and stop themselves from expressing resulting in a lack of communication leading to non-effective communication skills.
