Recently IRDAI has brought in new guidelines where the policies should be color-coded as per their complexity. The policies are color-coded into three different categories with colors red, green, and orange, red being the most complex and green being the least complex. These guidelines will give them an informed choice of the policies that they are looking for and would curb misselling and misinformation of policies to the customers.
